The Card Collective's aluminium trading card display frames are made to order and built or prepared in-house in Australia according to customer-selected specifications. Product options, layouts, dimensions, finishes, holder types, frame colours, EVA foam configurations and other selected options may form part of the purchase agreement and may be relied upon during production and fulfilment.
Depending on the product and configuration, production, preparation or fulfilment may begin shortly after payment has been successfully received. This may include material preparation, component allocation, cutting, configuration, assembly, finishing, inspection, quality-control procedures, protective packaging and other processes reasonably required to fulfil the order.
Our standard production lead time is generally up to 10 business days prior to dispatch, unless a different timeframe is stated on the applicable product page. Production lead times refer to the production and preparation stage and do not include courier transit time after dispatch.
Production or fulfilment timeframes may occasionally be affected by material availability, supplier delays, order volume, quality-control requirements, seasonal demand or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where a significant delay is expected, we will make reasonable efforts to keep the customer informed.
The Card Collective's aluminium trading card display frames are built and prepared in-house in Australia using quality components and materials sourced from trusted Australian and international suppliers. The sourcing location of an individual component or material does not represent the manufacturing or production location of the completed aluminium trading card display frame.
Following production and quality control, a completed order may be forwarded through an approved Australian or international fulfilment or distribution location where required for protective packaging, international routing, consolidation, labelling or final dispatch. Depending on the destination, parcel dimensions, available carrier services and logistical requirements, an order may therefore be dispatched from an approved Australian or international fulfilment location.
International fulfilment, routing or dispatch does not change the Australian production location of the completed aluminium trading card display frame.
Due to the made-to-order nature of our aluminium trading card display frames, cancellation or modification rights may become limited once production, material preparation or fulfilment has commenced. Orders may ordinarily be cancelled within the timeframe stated in our Returns, Refunds & Order Policy, subject to the applicable conditions.
Once production has begun, an order cannot ordinarily be cancelled, modified or refunded solely because the customer has changed their mind. This does not affect any rights or remedies available for damaged, faulty, incorrect or otherwise non-compliant products under applicable consumer law.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied during the ordering process is accurate and complete. This may include shipping details, contact information, selected variants, holder type, frame size, layout, frame colour, EVA foam configuration, measurements, uploaded files, reference images, customisation requests and any other information reasonably required to fulfil the order.
Where a product is built or prepared according to information or selections supplied by the customer, an issue resulting solely from an incorrect customer selection, measurement or undisclosed accessory does not by itself mean that the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied, provided the product supplied matches the information or configuration accepted for the order.
Product compatibility can vary according to holder type, slab generation, bumper guards, graded guards, protective bags, aftermarket cases and other accessories. Our aluminium trading card display frames may be configured for specific holder types including PSA, CGC, BGS and One Touch magnetic holders, or other configurations expressly stated on the applicable product page. Customers should review compatibility information carefully and contact us before ordering where they are uncertain whether a product will suit a particular holder or configuration.
The Card Collective may refuse, limit or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where fraudulent activity, payment irregularities, material pricing or listing errors, technical errors, delivery restrictions, legal requirements, supplier limitations or an inability to fulfil the selected configuration are identified.
Where an order is cancelled by The Card Collective after payment because it cannot reasonably be fulfilled, an appropriate refund will be provided for the cancelled item or order, subject to applicable law and payment-provider processing times.
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, photographs, renders and website content are accurate, minor variations may occur due to manufacturing and production tolerances, photography, lighting, screen settings, material characteristics, component batches, supplier updates or reasonable product improvements over time.
Minor variations in aluminium finishes, acrylic appearance, EVA foam appearance, colour tone, surface texture, extrusion finish, brushed surface direction or other manufactured characteristics do not necessarily constitute manufacturing defects.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, trading cards, graded slabs, magnetic holders, display stands, lighting props and decorative accessories shown in product photographs are for demonstration purposes only and are not included with the product.
Display products are intended primarily for display purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they should not be treated as archival storage systems, complete protection against fading or environmental deterioration, waterproof enclosures, security devices or guarantees against loss or damage to displayed collectibles.
Our aluminium trading card display frames are supplied with high UV-resistant clear acrylic selected for indoor display use. The acrylic currently used is supplier-rated as having Excellent UV Resistance and provides up to 92% visible-light transmission. Visible-light transmission is separate from UV protection and should not be interpreted as a percentage of ultraviolet radiation blocked.
The acrylic is not represented as archival, museum-grade, fade-proof or as providing complete protection against ultraviolet exposure. For the best long-term preservation of displayed collectibles, frames should be installed indoors and kept away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and high humidity. Exposure to sunlight and environmental conditions may contribute to fading, discolouration or deterioration over time regardless of glazing type.
Shipping, tracking, customs, delivery delays, damaged-in-transit claims and delivery-related issues are governed by our Shipping Policy.
Returns, refunds, change-of-mind requests, cancellations, faulty-product claims, incorrect-item claims and return shipping obligations are governed by our Returns, Refunds & Order Policy.
Where an approved claim relates to an individual replaceable component, the method of remedy may include direct replacement, supplier dispatch, approved local sourcing, fabrication or repair, or another appropriate arrangement as described in our Returns, Refunds & Order Policy and Shipping Policy.
Customers who open, disassemble, reassemble, load or mount an aluminium trading card display frame are responsible for following the applicable handling, reassembly and installation instructions. After opening the frame, all internal components, frame sections, corner connectors and fastening screws must be correctly repositioned, fully seated and securely tightened before the display is lifted, moved, carried or mounted.
Internal acrylic and EVA foam components should be removed and reinserted carefully and without force. Where possible, the front acrylic, EVA foam and rear acrylic should be kept together and aligned as a supported assembly during removal and reinsertion. If any component catches or feels stuck, it should be realigned before continuing. Incorrect handling may tear or deform EVA foam, scratch or chip acrylic, affect frame alignment or leave frame sections improperly seated.
The display must also be mounted using a suitable number of fixing or hanging points for its size and weight so that the load is distributed as evenly as reasonably possible. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the wall, anchors, hooks, screws, brackets and other mounting hardware used are suitable for the display and its contents.
Damage occurring after delivery as a result of incorrect disassembly, reassembly, handling, installation, mounting, inadequate mounting hardware, insufficient fixing points or poor load distribution is not considered a manufacturing defect or transit damage. This includes damage to the frame, EVA foam, acrylic, mounting surfaces, cards, slabs, holders, collectibles or other property caused by incorrect customer handling or installation, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Where damage is reported after a frame has been opened, disassembled, reassembled, loaded with cards or mounted, The Card Collective may request photographs, video, images of frame sections, corner connectors, fastening points, mounting points or affected components, or other reasonable information necessary to assess the circumstances of the claim.
Personal information collected through the website or during the ordering process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Nothing in this Legal Notice, our Terms of Service or any other store policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

Design Protection
The Card Collective's aluminium trading card display frame designs are protected intellectual property.
The Card Collective holds an Australian registered design right relating to its aluminium trading card display frame design and has also obtained international design registration through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Hague System, with protection extending through applicable international designations.
The protected design encompasses the overall visual appearance and configuration of the display frame, including relevant combinations and arrangements of its external aluminium extrusions and profiles, frame proportions, internal display configuration, structural arrangement, component positioning and other visual design features represented in the registered designs.
Design protection may apply to substantially similar designs even where individual dimensions, capacities, layouts, colours, finishes or other non-essential details differ from those illustrated in a particular product configuration, to the extent provided by the applicable registered design rights and laws of the relevant jurisdiction.
The Card Collective actively maintains and protects its intellectual property rights. Nothing on this website, including product photographs, drawings, specifications, descriptions or other materials, grants permission to reproduce, manufacture, commercially distribute or imitate a protected design except where expressly authorised in writing by The Card Collective.
Purchase of a product from The Card Collective does not transfer, assign or grant any licence to the intellectual property rights associated with that product or its design. Products, components, designs, configurations, specifications, proportions and other proprietary elements must not be copied, reproduced, replicated, adapted, commercially exploited or used as the basis, reference, template, sample or design source for the development or manufacture of another product without the express written authorisation of The Card Collective.
Products, components, designs, specifications, photographs, drawings, measurements or other information relating to The Card Collective's protected designs must not be supplied, disclosed or otherwise made available to manufacturers, factories, fabricators, product developers, sourcing agents, suppliers or other third parties for the purpose of developing, sourcing, manufacturing, reproducing or adapting another product based wholly or partly upon those designs.
Purchase and possession of a physical product grants the purchaser the right to own and use that physical product for its intended display purpose. It does not grant any right to commercially reproduce, manufacture, license, distribute, exploit or otherwise use the product or its design as a source for the creation or production of other products. By purchasing from The Card Collective, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the product is supplied for its intended end use and not for commercial reproduction, product development, manufacturing reference or other unauthorised exploitation of The Card Collective's intellectual property.
