About The Card Collective

The Card Collective is a small Australian specialist trading card display business focused on premium display solutions for graded cards, magnetic holders and larger collections, with our aluminium display range designed and built in-house in Australia.

We are a small, founder-led business, which means product development, customer support and the continued evolution of our displays are handled personally rather than through a large corporate team.

Our story

Meet the founder

Oliver

founder of The Card Collective

I started The Card Collective because I wanted better ways to display trading card collections.

Since then, the products have changed a lot. We have worked through MDF, custom colour matboard designs, solid wood and resin, learning something from each version along the way.

That eventually led us to aluminium. It felt like the right direction for the business because it gave the displays the cleaner, more premium finish I was looking for while still allowing us to build a much wider range of sizes and layouts.

Why aluminium?

Our aluminium range is now the main focus of The Card Collective and is designed and built in-house in Australia, using components sourced locally and internationally where needed.

I am still personally involved in the development of the range, including sizing, materials, layouts, finishes and the small changes that make each version better than the last.

A small, founder-led business

We are still a new and growing business, and I actually think that is one of our strengths. If you contact The Card Collective, there is a good chance you are speaking directly with me.

As the aluminium range developed, we also decided it was worth formally protecting what we were building. We have taken steps to protect our designs in Australia and internationally through the WIPO Hague System, as well as The Card Collective name and our product brands and categories through the Australian trade mark system.
