Purchase Options Policy
The Card Collective
Last Updated: 16 August 2026
This policy outlines the payment methods, purchase conditions and order-processing arrangements currently available through The Card Collective.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to the payment, production, fulfilment and purchase conditions described in this policy, together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and Returns, Refunds & Order Policy.

Payment Methods
Full payment is required at checkout unless an approved instalment or buy-now-pay-later option is selected through an available third-party payment provider.

Available payment methods may include:

• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• PayPal
• Apple Pay
• Google Pay
• Afterpay
• Klarna
• Zip
• Shop Pay
• Other payment methods displayed at checkout

Payment methods may vary depending on your location, currency, device, order value and the services available through Shopify Payments and our other payment providers.

The payment methods displayed at checkout are the payment methods available for that particular order.

Payment Authorisation
By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and authorise The Card Collective and its payment providers to charge the total amount displayed at checkout.

The total amount may include the product price, optional upgrades, shipping charges, taxes, duties and any other charges clearly disclosed before payment is completed.

An order will not ordinarily enter production or fulfilment until payment has been successfully authorised and verified.

If payment is declined, reversed, disputed, cancelled or cannot be verified, we may place the order on hold or cancel it.

Buy Now, Pay Later Services
Buy-now-pay-later services such as Afterpay, Klarna or Zip may be available to eligible customers at checkout.

These payment arrangements are provided by independent third-party providers and are subject to their own eligibility requirements, approval processes, repayment schedules, fees, terms and privacy policies.

The Card Collective does not determine whether an application is approved and cannot alter the repayment terms established between you and the payment provider.

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed back through the original payment method. Any adjustment to an instalment plan will then be handled by the applicable payment provider.

Currency & International Payments
Prices may be displayed in Australian dollars or another local currency depending on your selected market, location or website settings.

Currency conversion, local market pricing and rounding may be applied through Shopify or an applicable payment provider.

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply its own foreign-exchange rate, international transaction fee or other processing charge.

Any fee independently charged by your financial institution or payment provider is outside the control of The Card Collective.

Production & Order Processing
Many of our products are manufactured or prepared to order.

Once payment has been successfully received and verified, an order may enter material preparation, manufacturing, assembly, configuration, quality inspection, packaging or fulfilment.

Our standard production lead time is up to 10 business days prior to dispatch, unless a different timeframe is stated on the applicable product page.

During periods of unusually high order volume, supplier interruption, material delay or additional quality-control review, production may occasionally extend slightly beyond this estimate.

Production time refers only to the manufacturing and preparation stage and does not include courier delivery time.

Because products may be prepared specifically for the selected size, holder type, layout, colour, finish or other configuration, production or material preparation can make later changes or cancellations impractical once that work has commenced.

Production Partners & Fulfilment
Some products are manufactured, assembled, inspected, packaged or dispatched by trusted production and fulfilment partners acting on behalf of The Card Collective.

Depending on the product and destination, an order may be manufactured, processed or dispatched from an approved international production or fulfilment location.

After production, your order may be forwarded to our international fulfilment centre for inspection, protective packaging, labelling and dispatch with tracking to your destination.

The use of a production or fulfilment partner does not remove or reduce any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Order Confirmation & Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.

An automated order confirmation confirms that the order has been received but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.

We may review an order before production or fulfilment begins.

We may reject, place on hold or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• payment cannot be verified
• fraud or unauthorised payment is suspected
• a pricing or listing error has occurred
• the selected product or configuration is unavailable
• the delivery destination cannot be serviced
• customer information is incomplete or inaccurate
• the order cannot legally or practically be fulfilled

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled item or order will be refunded through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Product Options & Customer Selections
Customers are responsible for reviewing and selecting the correct product size, frame style, holder type, colour, layout, quantity and any optional upgrades before completing checkout.

Display products may be designed for specific card holders or slab types, including PSA, CGC, BGS or One Touch magnetic holders.

A product designed for one holder type may not fit another holder type unless expressly stated.

Where custom measurements or compatibility information are supplied by the customer, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the information is complete and accurate.

Where the product supplied matches the size, holder type, colour, layout or other configuration selected at checkout, an incorrect customer selection does not by itself mean that the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Please contact us before ordering if you are uncertain about compatibility or the correct product configuration.

Pricing & Listing Errors
We may update product prices, discounts, shipping charges and optional upgrade fees at any time without notice.

Price changes do not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted and paid, except where an obvious pricing, listing or technical error has occurred.

If a material pricing or listing error affects your order, we may contact you to confirm the corrected details or cancel the affected item and issue an appropriate refund.

Promotional codes, discounts and special offers may be subject to separate eligibility requirements, expiry dates, product exclusions or usage limits.

Cancellations & Order Changes
Many products sold by The Card Collective are manufactured or prepared to order according to the specific product options and configuration selected by the customer.

For this reason, orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase, provided production, material preparation or fulfilment has not already commenced.

We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation or change. A cancellation or modification request is not confirmed until it has been reviewed and expressly accepted by The Card Collective.

Production may begin before the 12-hour cancellation period has expired. Depending on the product and configuration ordered, this may include material preparation, cutting, configuration, assembly, finishing, inspection, packaging or other made-to-order preparation.

Once production or material preparation has commenced, the product may already have been prepared specifically for your selected size, holder type, layout, colour, finish or other configuration.

Once the initial 12-hour cancellation period has passed, change-of-mind cancellations are not eligible for a refund to the original payment method.

This applies even if the order has not yet been dispatched, as production, material preparation, customisation, quality control, packaging or fulfilment may already have commenced before shipment occurs.

After the initial 12-hour period, the only potential pre-dispatch change-of-mind cancellation option is a discretionary store-credit cancellation as described below.

Requests to change a product variation, holder type, frame size, colour, configuration, delivery address or other order detail should be submitted as soon as possible. We will review whether the requested change can still be made, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered production, preparation or fulfilment.

If we are able to accommodate a requested product change after an order has been placed, any applicable price difference or additional cost may need to be paid before the change can be completed.

Submitting a cancellation or modification request does not automatically stop production, preparation or fulfilment. The order remains active unless The Card Collective expressly confirms otherwise.

These cancellation restrictions apply to change-of-mind cancellations and customer-requested modifications. They do not remove or restrict any rights or remedies available where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees.

Cancellation, return and refund eligibility is governed by our Returns, Refunds & Order Policy and applicable consumer law.

Cancellation Requests After the 12-Hour Cancellation Period
Once the initial 12-hour cancellation period has passed, refunds to the original payment method are not available for change-of-mind cancellation requests.

If the order has not yet been dispatched, you may contact The Card Collective to ask whether the order can still reasonably be stopped.

Where circumstances reasonably allow, The Card Collective may, at its discretion, approve cancellation for store credit only.

This is a discretionary goodwill option. Store credit is not guaranteed simply because an order has not yet been dispatched.

In deciding whether store credit can be offered, we may consider factors including:

• the stage of production or preparation
• whether materials or components have already been ordered or allocated
• whether manufacturing or customisation has commenced
• whether the product has been completed or substantially completed
• whether packaging or fulfilment has commenced
• manufacturing, handling, fulfilment or other non-recoverable costs already incurred
• whether the order can reasonably be stopped before dispatch

Store credit may therefore be declined entirely where the order has progressed too far or where significant non-recoverable costs have already been incurred.

Any store-credit cancellation must be expressly approved and confirmed by The Card Collective before the order will be considered cancelled.

Until confirmation is provided, the order remains active and production, preparation or fulfilment may continue.

If discretionary store credit is approved, the applicable credit amount and any conditions of use will be communicated as part of the approved cancellation arrangement.

Approval of store credit in one case does not create an entitlement to store credit for other orders or customers. Each request is assessed according to the circumstances and production status of that particular order.

After the initial 12-hour period, an approved discretionary change-of-mind cancellation will be provided as store credit only and not as a cash refund, card refund, bank refund, PayPal refund, buy-now-pay-later refund or refund to the original payment method.

This discretionary store-credit provision applies only to change-of-mind cancellation requests. It does not limit any rights or remedies available for faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-compliant goods under applicable consumer law.

Refused, Rejected & Unaccepted Deliveries
Refusing, rejecting or intentionally failing to accept delivery does not constitute an approved cancellation or return and does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund or store credit.

If the initial 12-hour cancellation period has passed, refusing delivery does not restore or create a right to a change-of-mind refund to the original payment method.

If you no longer wish to receive an order, please contact The Card Collective before refusing or rejecting delivery so the circumstances can be reviewed.

Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that it can be intercepted, redirected or returned before delivery.

Where a parcel is refused, rejected or intentionally left unaccepted and is subsequently returned, any potential store credit, reshipment or other resolution will ordinarily be assessed after the parcel has been returned or otherwise accounted for and its condition has been reviewed.

Where permitted by applicable law, costs reasonably incurred as a result of an unapproved refused or unaccepted delivery may be taken into account when determining any applicable store credit, reshipment or other resolution.

These costs may include outbound shipping, return shipping, carrier charges, customs charges, handling costs or other non-recoverable delivery expenses.

For change-of-mind situations arising after the initial 12-hour cancellation period, any discretionary cancellation remedy remains subject to the store-credit-only conditions described above and is not guaranteed.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees.

Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved and available under the applicable policy, it will generally be returned through the original payment method used for the order.

For clarity, change-of-mind cancellation requests made after the initial 12-hour cancellation period are not eligible for a refund to the original payment method.

Where a pre-dispatch change-of-mind cancellation is approved after the 12-hour period, the applicable remedy will be store credit only and will be subject to the discretionary conditions described above.

Store credit is not a refund and is not returned to the customer's bank account, payment card, PayPal account or buy-now-pay-later provider.

Refund processing times vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution and payment method.

Once a refund has been submitted by The Card Collective, additional processing time may be required before the funds appear in your account.

We are not responsible for processing delays caused by a bank, card issuer, payment provider or buy-now-pay-later service.

Where an external payment dispute or claim has already been opened, the availability or timing of a separate refund may depend on the applicable payment provider or platform process.

Refunds or remedies relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-compliant goods are handled separately in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Order Policy and applicable consumer law.

Fraud Prevention & Verification
Orders may be reviewed using fraud-prevention and payment-verification systems provided by Shopify, payment providers and other authorised service providers.

Where an order is flagged for additional review, we may request reasonable information to verify the purchaser, payment method, billing details or delivery address.

We may place an order on hold or cancel it where requested verification is not supplied or where we reasonably suspect fraud, identity misuse, an unauthorised payment or other unlawful activity.

Any personal information collected for verification purposes will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Marketplace Purchases
Orders placed through third-party marketplaces, including Etsy and eBay, may be subject to additional payment, tax, dispute and buyer-protection processes established by those platforms.

Payment methods available through a marketplace may differ from those available through our Shopify website.

Where a marketplace policy applies to a transaction, that policy will operate alongside our applicable product, production, shipping and fulfilment terms, subject to consumer law.

General Conditions
By placing an order through our website, you confirm that the information supplied is accurate and that you have reviewed the selected products, prices, payment method, delivery information and applicable policies.

This Purchase Options Policy should be read together with our:

• Terms of Service
• Shipping Policy
• Privacy Policy
• Returns, Refunds & Order Policy
• applicable product descriptions and compatibility information

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
