Many products sold by The Card Collective are manufactured or prepared to order according to customer-selected specifications. Product options, layouts, dimensions, finishes, holder types, materials, colours and other selected configurations may form part of the purchase agreement and may be relied upon during production and fulfilment.
Depending on the product, production, preparation or fulfilment may begin shortly after payment has been successfully received. This may include material preparation, configuration, assembly, finishing, inspection, quality-control procedures, protective packaging and other processes reasonably required to fulfil the order.
Our standard production lead time is generally up to 10 business days prior to dispatch, unless a different timeframe is stated on the applicable product page. Production lead times refer to the production and preparation stage and do not include courier transit time after dispatch.
Production or fulfilment timeframes may occasionally be affected by material availability, supplier delays, order volume, quality-control requirements, seasonal demand or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where a significant delay is expected, we will make reasonable efforts to keep the customer informed.
Some products may be manufactured, assembled, inspected, packaged or dispatched by approved production and fulfilment partners acting on our behalf and to our specifications. Depending on the product and destination, an order may pass through an approved international production or fulfilment location before dispatch.
Due to the made-to-order nature of many products, cancellation or modification rights may become limited once production, material preparation or fulfilment has commenced. Orders may ordinarily be cancelled within the timeframe stated in our Returns, Refunds & Order Policy, subject to the applicable conditions.
Once production has begun, an order cannot ordinarily be cancelled, modified or refunded solely because the customer has changed their mind. This does not affect any rights or remedies available for damaged, faulty, incorrect or otherwise non-compliant products under applicable consumer law.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied during the ordering process is accurate and complete. This may include shipping details, contact information, selected variants, holder type, frame size, configuration, measurements, uploaded files, reference images, customisation requests and any other information reasonably required to fulfil the order.
Where a product is manufactured according to information or selections supplied by the customer, an issue resulting solely from an incorrect customer selection, measurement or undisclosed accessory does not by itself mean that the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied, provided the product supplied matches the information or configuration accepted for the order.
Product compatibility can vary according to holder type, slab generation, bumper guards, protective sleeves, bags, aftermarket cases and other accessories. Customers should review compatibility information carefully and contact us before ordering where they are uncertain whether a product will suit a particular holder or configuration.
The Card Collective may refuse, limit or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where fraudulent activity, payment irregularities, material pricing or listing errors, technical errors, delivery restrictions, legal requirements, supplier limitations or an inability to fulfil the selected configuration are identified.
Where an order is cancelled by The Card Collective after payment because it cannot reasonably be fulfilled, an appropriate refund will be provided for the cancelled item or order, subject to applicable law and payment-provider processing times.
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, photographs, renders and website content are accurate, minor variations may occur due to manufacturing tolerances, photography, lighting, screen settings, natural material characteristics, supplier updates, manufacturing batches or reasonable product improvements over time.
Minor variations in aluminium finishes, timber grain, resin appearance, acrylic edges, matboard edges, colour tone, brushed surface direction or other natural or manufactured characteristics do not necessarily constitute manufacturing defects.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, trading cards, graded slabs, magnetic holders, display stands, lighting props and decorative accessories shown in product photographs are for demonstration purposes only and are not included with the product.
Display products are intended primarily for display purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they should not be treated as archival storage systems, complete protection against fading or environmental deterioration, waterproof enclosures, security devices or guarantees against loss or damage to displayed collectibles.
Where supplied, clear acrylic provides basic UV protection suitable for general indoor display. It is not suitable for prolonged direct sunlight and does not guarantee against fading, discolouration or deterioration of displayed items over time.
